Deadline: 12-Sep-2025
The Community Development Grant – Small is now open for applications, offering financial support to strengthen the work of local, community-managed, and not-for-profit organisations across the United Kingdom.
This grant programme provides funding between £1,001 and £2,000 to support the sustainability and impact of community-led initiatives. Eligible applicants must be formally constituted, community-managed, and autonomous organisations working at a local community level and serving the wider interests of their community. Organisations must demonstrate inclusive membership, hold Annual General Meetings where each member has equal voting rights, ensure the democratic election of management committees or boards, present annual reports and statements of accounts, and operate on a not-for-personal-profit basis.
By focusing on organisations with strong governance and inclusive participation, this grant aims to empower communities, promote accountability, and ensure that resources are used effectively to address local needs. The support provided can cover essential running costs, specific programme expenses, and summer activities that benefit community members.
The deadline for applications is 12 September 2025 at 12:00 Noon GMT. This opportunity offers small but meaningful funding to enhance community development and sustain the valuable contributions of grassroots organisations.
