Deadline: 30-Sep-2025
Public Space is supporting a small grants competition for civil society organisations in Ukraine under the project “Enhancing Response, Protection and Capacity for Affected Communities.”
The opportunity is open to organisations based in the regions of Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv. Each selected project can receive funding of up to 412,497 Ukrainian hryvnias. Activities must be carried out between October 2025 and April 2026.
The grant is designed to support a wide range of humanitarian and protection-oriented initiatives. These include the distribution of essential supplies like food, hygiene kits, and winterisation items for displaced and vulnerable families. Projects may also focus on legal and psychosocial support, human rights awareness, restoring livelihoods, and community-based services, especially those that offer mobile or digital solutions.
In addition, organisations that are led by or serve women, people with disabilities, the Roma community, or LGBTQ+ groups are especially encouraged to apply. A minimum of one year’s experience, operation in the project area, and a core team of at least five people are required to be eligible.
This funding opportunity offers crucial support for organisations aiming to improve local responses to humanitarian needs while promoting inclusion, resilience, and innovation across affected communities.
