Deadline: 23-Sep-2025
The United Nations Development Programme Viet Nam has launched a call for a national institution, agency, education-based consulting firm, or NGO specializing in digital security to collaborate on a new initiative aimed at enhancing digital safety for youth.
This partnership will run from September 2025 to April 2026 under the “Securing the Digital Space for Vietnamese Youth” program, jointly implemented by UNDP and UNFPA Viet Nam with support from the UN Trust Fund for Human Security. The effort seeks to equip policymakers and corporate decision-makers with the knowledge and tools needed to safeguard young people in an increasingly digital world.
The selected national firm will play a central role in designing, testing, and disseminating a modular online training course and an accompanying handbook on youth digital security and personal data protection. These resources will be tailored to align with the upcoming Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and address emerging digital risks affecting Vietnamese youth. The firm will co-organize two consultation workshops with government agencies, private sector actors, and youth representatives to gather feedback and validate the course design and content, ensuring it meets real-world needs.
Additionally, the partner will coordinate two pilot training sessions for public officials and corporate managers to refine the learning experience and ensure the course is practical and impactful. Once finalized, the firm will host and promote the course on a government-approved e-learning platform, ensuring it is accessible and user-friendly for the intended audience. A public launch event will also be organized, bringing together media, partners, and key stakeholders to introduce the course and handbook to the wider community.
This opportunity places a strong emphasis on inclusion, with women-owned companies especially encouraged to apply. Among technically qualified bidders, preference will be given to women-owned firms, reflecting UNDP Viet Nam’s commitment to gender equality and inclusive development while addressing the critical issue of digital security for youth.
