Civil Society Organizations connected to or operating within the Eastern Partnership region now have access to a new funding opportunity aimed at strengthening their resilience.
This grant initiative is designed to support organizations in building the internal capacity needed to navigate complex environments and sustain their critical work.
The funding can be used for a wide range of activities that enhance organizational resilience. These include initiatives to support the physical and mental well-being of staff, such as safety measures and mental health support. Investments in digital security and IT infrastructure are also eligible, helping organizations protect sensitive data and maintain secure communications.
CSOs can use the funding to bring in expert consultants to address legal, financial, or strategic challenges, as well as to improve the delivery of their programs and operations. Legal support costs may also be covered, providing resources to deal with potential legal risks. Additionally, strengthening communication strategies and tools is an important area of support, enabling better outreach and advocacy.
The grant provides a financial contribution of 10,000 EUR per organization, supporting projects with a duration of up to five months. This funding is particularly targeted at covering investment costs that are typically not eligible under standard project-based grants, allowing CSOs to focus on core infrastructure and sustainability.
To be eligible, organizations must either be registered in one of the EaP countries or demonstrate a clear operational link to the region. They must also show a defined need for the funding and explain how the support will contribute to greater organizational resilience. This opportunity offers CSOs a timely and practical way to reinforce their foundations and prepare for future challenges.
