The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hereby invites you to submit a Proposal to Design and delivery of entrepreneurship training program and provision of mentorship and business advisory support to the newly established start-ups in the Sarajevo Canton – EGG.
The Economic Governance for Growth (EGG) Project is an initiative implemented by UNDP and funded by the Government of Norway. The project addresses gaps in the entrepreneurial environment, delivering short, medium, and long-term measures aimed at improving the competitiveness of the BiH private sector.
Objectives
- The assignment’s wider objective is to foster a business-friendly environment with the aim to increase employment and income generation for the economically active population in targeted localities.
- The assignment’s specific objective is to support the creation, operation, and growth of small-scale businesses in the Sarajevo Canton through the provision of entrepreneurship training programs and corresponding mentoring and advisory support to the selected start-up businesses.
Assignment Outputs & Deliverables
- Entrepreneurship modular training program designed and implemented.
- The modular training program on entrepreneurship successfully designed and implemented;
- Up to 100 candidates trained (4 training groups with the app. 25 participants per each group),
- All training participants completed business plans and submitted to UNDP;
- Provided inputs and recommendations for the evaluation and selection of the most innovative and feasible business ideas.
- Mentorship and business advisory support provided to the newly established start-ups.
- Provided mentorship and business advisory support for the estimated number of 70 newly established startups;
- Supported start-ups linked with other relevant business development service providers.
- Project implementation reports submitted.
- Project stage implementation reports completed and submitted as outlined in the Assignment Output 3 section;
- The final report completed and submitted.
Eligibility Criteria
- A vendor should not be suspended, debarred, or otherwise identified as ineligible by any UN Organization or the World Bank Group or any other international Organization. Vendors are therefore required to disclose to UNDP whether they are subject to any sanction or temporary suspension imposed by these organizations.
- It is the Bidders responsibility to ensure that its employees, joint venture members, sub-contractors, service providers, suppliers, and/or their employees meet the eligibility requirements as established by UNDP.
