The focus of the grant is for large scale events held within the Borough which have value and interest well beyond the local Council area.
Funding support covers a range of essential costs including venue hire, equipment, printing, materials, insurance, programme facilitation, toilets, road closure expenses, and living Christmas trees. The available funding ranges between £1,001 and £10,000, helping organisations deliver impactful events that benefit and engage wider communities.
Eligible applicants must be community or voluntary organisations operating on a not-for-profit basis. Groups or projects must not already hold two successful grants within the same financial year within FAP, nor hold a Medium Grant (CD or GR), Large Event Fund Grant, or International Event Fund Grant in the current year. Additionally, applicants must ensure that the proposed event demonstrates significance across and beyond the borough.
