Deadline: 28-November-2025
The focus areas of the program are to support projects that are community designed and led, and which address local needs; to achieve outcomes that align with Council’s Community Strategic Plan 2025–2035; to build community wellbeing and inclusion; to celebrate art, culture, and community; to strengthen community partnerships and networks; to increase local economic activity and visitation; and to create a positive social impact.
The Community Grants Program is conducted twice each year, with Nambucca Valley Council allocating a total of $50,000 to the program in the 2025/2026 budget. Grants of up to $5,000 are available to projects that align with the Council’s strategic goals and outcomes while demonstrating measurable community benefits.
Eligible applicants include incorporated not-for-profit associations or not-for-profit organisations with an ABN operating in the Nambucca Valley Local Government Area. Unincorporated groups may apply under the auspice of an eligible organisation. Additionally, not-for-profit entities registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC) are also eligible to apply.
