The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tirana announces a call for proposals for Czech Business Support (CBS/PROPEA) for 2021.
The CBS/PROPEA program enables Czech companies to use paid services of local professional consulting entities in order to develop their current or future business activities in Albania. The services of these entities can be subsidized from the CBS/PROPEA program in the amount of 70% within the approved project. The subsidy is provided directly to the local service provider in the form of payments of invoices for the provided service. The condition is the previous payment for the service by the Czech company (customer of the service) in the amount of 30% of the total price.
Eligible Project Expenses
The Czech company can use the CBS/PROPEA program to procure the following services (eligible project expenses):
- elaboration of a business plan for market entry or investment;
- preparation of legal, tax, financial and legislative analysis;
- launching products on the market (assistance in negotiations with financial or other institutions, support in setting up an account and securing financing, establishing a company, etc.);
- procurement of licenses, certifications, product registrations and trademarks;
- preparing and verifying documentation for import / export and logistics;
- creation and coordination of supplier and partner networks;
- provision of promotional, marketing and PR services;
- start-up / start-up support for service companies;
- use of the technical background of the local entity.
Eligibility Criteria
- Proposals can only be submitted by a local entity (Project Implementer) that is a legal personality registered in Albania.
- The proposal must be submitted on a standardized form in the Czech language, which must be duly completed in all its parts, and will be stamped and signed by an authorized person.
- The proposal must be provided with a copy of the document confirming the legal personality of the implementer together with a document certifying that the person is authorized to act on behalf of the implementer in Albania.
