Women’s Fund in Georgia (WFG) would like to announce a grants competition on “Supporting Feminist Movement Building in Georgia.” The program is financially supported by Issues Affecting Women Program of the Oak Foundation.
The program aims to support women’s empowerment and feminist movement. WFG welcomes women’s rights groups, feminist activists and women human rights defenders to apply to the call where the following initiatives will be supported:
- Feminist educational initiatives (ToTs, workshops, feminist schools/camps, etc.).
- Legislative and policy advocacy.
- Collective initiatives of feminists, women’s organizations/groups, activists and WHRDs.
- Innovative and creative initiatives aimed at supporting women’s movement building.
Funding Information
- Grant amount is 5000 USD (for each project).

The duration of each project is 6 months.
- Groups eligible to apply for a grant are formal (registered) as well as non-formal groups. The geographic focus of the competition is Tbilisi, as well as other regions of Georgia.
- WFG will support the projects which are implemented by women and where women are direct or final beneficiaries. Within this competition, priorities will be given to the coalition of women’s initiatives and formal groups.
