Deadline: 07-May-21
The Foundation Trust is currently accepting Letters of Inquiry for Partnership Grants. The Foundation Trust is a private operating foundation, meaning they can be actively engaged in the development and implementation of programming.
Funding Information
- Small Gifts range from $100-$1,000.
- Grants tend to be in the range of $2,000 to $10,000 per year for a one to three year period. The maximum award is $10,000 for one year, $30,000 for three years.
Who is eligible to apply?
- Organizations designated by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply. Applicants should be service provision organizations or public charities, not other private grant-giving foundations. Municipal programs operated for the benefit of the public (e.g., libraries, schools, literacy programs, immigrant-support services) are also eligible to apply, and should provide proof of their municipal affiliation when applying.
- Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) may be submitted for Foundation Trust grants for organizations based in or providing services in the designated catchment area for that year only.
- For 2021, the priority catchment communities are Chelsea, Everett, Malden, and Salem, MA.
- Submissions from other communities will be considered on an individual basis, but will not be weighted as heavily in the scoring as applicants from the year’s designated communities.
