The ”la Caixa” Foundation is offering Social Action in Rural Areas Program to promote projects in rural areas, adapted to their territorial characteristics and social needs, to improve living conditions and generate opportunities for families, children and adolescents, women, the elderly and people at risk of social exclusion.
- Childhood and youth.
- Personal autonomy and care for aging, disability and illness.
- Socio-labor development.
- Local community and social cohesion.
- Adaptation to the territory in which they must be implemented in terms of location, extension, target population, need or challenge to which they respond
- Coordinated action, through formal alliances, between social entities, companies and public administrations to promote transversality and comprehensive action
- The generation and maintenance of essential services and activities to guarantee the quality of life of people.
- The integration of social realities that contribute to generating a sense of community: children, young people, the elderly, the immigrant population, etc.
- Sustainability in the economic, social and environmental dimensions and reproducibility to encourage the implementation of similar or similar initiatives in other areas.
- The projects requested must have a duration of 12 months and can be presented as projects:
- Individuals: the amount requested cannot exceed € 40,000.
- Partnerships: the amount requested cannot exceed € 60,000.
- The amount requested may not exceed 75% of the total cost of the project. In the event that the project is selected, the entity undertakes to contribute at least 25% of the total cost of the project according to the budget submitted, regardless of the amount of the grant awarded.
- The entities that can apply to the call are:
- Non-profit entities
- Social economy entities whose statutes explicitly state, among the purposes indicated, that the main objective is the social interest or the social cohesion
- Public administrations or entities that are part of the public sector cannot be presented as project management entities in this call, but as collaborating entities in a partnership project.
- The requirements for entities, both managers and partnerships, are:
- Be accredited in the new call application call.fundaciolacaixa.org and designate a person responsible for the project.
- Be registered in the corresponding administrative register, have their domicile in Spain and develop the project presented in Spain.
- Have your own NIF.
- Have statutes and have a minimum of one year of activity, since the constitution.
