The Campbell River Community Foundation is pleased to announce Community Grant Program to support non-profit organizations in Campbell River supporting art, culture, education, health, the environment, and youth.
The Campbell River Community Foundation connects the generosity of donors with the energy, ideas, and needs of their community. Their Endowment Fund has grown from $5000 to $2.2 million since 1990.
The community projects help make Campbell River a healthier, more vibrant, and livable community.

- Provide a direct service to the community

- Leverage funds from other sources

- Educational and Training Workshops
- Equipment
- Furniture
- Computer labs
- When a substantial portion of funding comes from other sources
Eligibility Criteria
- Grant Eligibility
- The Campbell River Community Foundation is committed to creating a healthy and vibrant community. They engage their donors and area non-profits to create opportunities for all citizens to experience a high quality of life. Since 1997, the Campbell River Community Foundation has awarded thousands of dollars in grants to a wide range of registered charities committed to building a better Campbell River. Their grants are made possible through the generosity of community-minded donors. They work closely with their donors to connect them with causes that matter in a variety of areas.
- Eligible Organizations
- Your organization must be a not-for-profit entity and possess a Charitable Registration Number. ?
- The organization must be located in the Community Foundation’s service area, which is within School District #72’s (Campbell River and Area) boundaries.
- The organization must be a BC registered Society. Those societies which are not registered charities under the Income tax Act must arrange to apply through an organization that is a registered charity, and which will accept the grant on their behalf. (A charity number must be included in the application)
- Provide a benefit to the citizens of the geographic area served by the Foundation.
- Applicants must demonstrate fiscal responsibility and effective management
- Provide all information requested according to the Foundation Grant Making Guidelines.
- Projects must align with one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).

- Applications will not be accepted if they do not have a charity number or if it originates from an individual or for-profit organization.
