The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria through the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Minsk has announced a procedure for acceptance and selection of project proposals to be implemented with grants within the official development assistance of the Republic of Bulgaria with initial implementation in 2022 year.
- Establishing Bulgaria on the international scene as a consistent reliable and predictable partner and to protect national interests;
- Promoting the principle of multilateralism in international relations, respect for international law, the values of democracy and human rights;
- Strengthen the rule of law, reform the public sector, build capacity at the local level, protect and guarantee human rights with special attention to women, children, people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups;
- Improving the quality of education, incl. by improving the educational infrastructure;
- Sustainable economic development and support for sustainable employment, support for business in the implementation of EU standards, overcoming the negative socio-economic consequences of COVID-19.

- Protection of fundamental human rights with special attention to the rights of children, people with disabilities and other vulnerable social groups;
- Support to address the health, economic and social consequences of the pandemic caused by COVID-19. (incl. through Team Europe).
- The minimum allowable value of a project is BGN 5,000.
- The recommended maximum value of a project is:
- for projects with a duration of up to 12 months – up to BGN 20,000;
- for projects with a longer duration – up to BGN 30,000.
- The co-financing of project activities provided by the applicant will be considered as an advantage in the evaluation, selection and approval of projects.
- Project proposals must contain an indicative initial deadline for project implementation after 1 March 2022 and no later than 30 November 2022.
- The implementation of the project must be completed no later than December 31, 2024.
- Primary and secondary budget managers – legal entities of the Republic of Belarus;
- International and local non-governmental organizations;
- Municipalities and their associations;
- Educational, health and social institutions;
- International humanitarian organizations;
- Others.
