The St. Mary’s County has launched the COVID-19 Non Profit Grant Program for nonprofits located in St. Mary’s County.
The St. Mary’s County Department of Economic Development focuses on multiple strategic areas to build a stronger, more resilient, innovation-driven economy in St. Mary’s County, Maryland.
The goal is to provide grants to support as many St. Mary’s County based nonprofits as possible.
Funding Information
- The grant program will have a maximum budget of $375,000.
- Maximum amount per grantee: $20,000.
Nonprofits must be in good standing with the State of Maryland, St. Mary’s County Department of Land Use and Growth Management, Office of the Treasurer and must demonstrate a need for assistance.
Eligibility Criteria
- All nonprofits with an active IRS 501(c) designation.
- Must be in good standing with the State of Maryland.
- Be based in St. Mary’s County.
- Be in good standing with St. Mary’s County Department of Land Use and Growth Management.
- Be in good standing with St. Mary’s County Office of the Treasurer.
- Demonstrate a need for assistance.
Requirements
- Completed St. Mary’s County Direct Deposit Form.
- A signed grant agreement will be required as part of the application to streamline the process. The signed agreement does not guarantee funding.
- Completed and signed W-9 (version dated October 2018).
- Certificate of Good Standing from the State of Maryland OR proof of ACTIVE status of sole proprietorship from the State of Maryland.
