SLINGSHOT powered by Startup is calling all startups, Asia’s most exciting deep tech pitching competition.
This is your chance to anchor yourself in Singapore – one of the world’s top innovation nodes – and compete for over S$1.1M (US$800,000) in attractive prizes!
In their fifth edition, they are looking for startups in four emerging challenge sectors to showcase your game-changing solutions and products. Make the pitch of a lifetime to a global audience of major investors, industry leaders, and thought leaders!
Shortlisted startups will be given the opportunity to develop corporate partnerships and join them at Singapore Week of Innovation and TeCHnology 2021 (SWITCH 2021).

Deliverables
To be eligible, Deliverables must
- address the specific issue set out in the Brief,
- be in a common digital format, such as PDFMP4, and
- be in English and in general terms must comply with these Rules.
Eligibility Criteria
Any international startups with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and meet the following conditions are eligible to participate:
- can illustrate initial signs of traction;
- have proprietary technology or solutions.
Terms and Conditions
- To accept the Startup SG grants, I must:
- Dedicate a reasonable amount of their time on the business, not be employed full time by another employer, and must be a key decision-maker in the company;
- Register / have registered a private limited company in Singapore.
- In addition, I would need to meet the following conditions:
- Business activities run by my company should be conducted wholly or mainly in Singapore;
- The proposed business idea must not be in the following list: cafes, restaurants, night clubs, lounges, bars, foot reflexology, massage parlors, gambling, prostitution, social escort services, employment agencies (including recruiting foreign work permit holders and workers/ support staff, relocation services, and manpower services), and geomancy.
- I understand that Enterprise Singapore reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the grant as may be specified and deemed necessary.
