Applications are now open for the FCC Small Environmental Improvement Grant to recognise the valuable role that voluntary, community and faith groups play in enhancing the life of the people of Chorley.
They are committed to supporting local groups and organisations across Chorley to access opportunities and secure funding to improve services and facilities in your local area with focus on projects that bring about environment Improvement.
Funding Information
Funding of up to a maximum of £500 is available.
What are they looking to fund?
In partnership with FCC Environment, their waste contract provider, Chorley Council have created a fund which is new this year and they are looking for applicants to demonstrate how their projects fulfil the following aims and criteria:
- Help to keep neighbourhoods clean and safe
- Provide equipment support for local clean-up projects
- Support local environmental communication and education campaigns
- Support recycling and waste reduction initiatives
- Involves improvements to waste reduction, recycling or re-use within their local community
Eligibility Criteria
- Voluntary, community and faith sector groups operating within Chorley
- Groups with a bank account
- Groups who have not had a Councilor Community Grant awarded this year
- Individuals cannot apply
- Funding awarded must be used by the end of February 2022
