UNDP is calling for proposals for Gender Equality Media Campaign to contribute to opening the media and public communication space for the dialogue as regards the gender stereotypes, focusing on a non/exhaustive list of topics.
The development and distribution of an innovativemedia content aims to broaden the knowledge regarding gender equality, as well as the understanding of the most present stereotypes about women in various areas.
The promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women is central to the mandate of UNDP and intrinsic to its development approach.
UNDP is leading strategic process in order to advance gender equality agenda in line with international frameworks (EU & UN) and development priorities of the country.
Objectives
- The primary objective isthe development of an innovative approach in communicating gender equality in communications and media.
- The specific objectives and suggested methodology of the assignment are:
- Provision of technical capacities for the development and distribution of communication and media content
- Creation of communication and media contentregarding gender equality in various fields
- Distribution of communication and media content
Deliverables
- Produced report based on the assessment of the media reach at the platforms used for the promotion and distribution of podcast and other communication and media content
- Developed media plan for pre-campaign and produce Report on the campaign’s reach / impact.
- Developed detailed plan on implementation plan with a timeframe based on approved Methodology
- Developed 12 podcasts with relevant participants on different topics regarding gender equality
- Delivered 12 podcasts with relevant participants on different topics regarding gender equality
- Developed and delivered 12 two-minute videos
- Developed and delivered 12 banners and 31 visual solutions for social networks
- Developed and deliveredreport on overall reach and evaluation of the impact of the action (podcast series)
Outcomes
- Raised awareness on gender equality issues in Montenegro;
- Contribution to strengthen gender mainstreaming in public communications and media;
- Stimulation of an enabling environment for more transparent, inclusive and transformative public discourse on gender related issues;
- Broadened understandings of the most widespread gender related stereotypes and cultural norms in various fields;
- Identified possible solutions for the challenge’s women face in different fields;
- The Contractor is obliged to:
- Conduct all of the necessary preparation activities with detailed timeframes (per week) and create a scenario / synopsis of each episode;
- Conduct an assessment of the media reach at the platforms used for the promotion and distribution of podcast and other communication and media content;
- Conduct a pre-campaign of the podcast series;
- Develop and publish 12 podcasts online using the communication platform identified through the Assessment;
- Conduct a social media advertisement of each of the episode;
- Developed and delivered 12 two-minute videos based on the each podcast episode (episode highlights) that will be later used for awareness raising activities;
- Developed and delivered 12 banners and 31 visual solutions for social networks that will be used for the promotion;
- Develop a report on the overall reach and evaluation of the impact of the Action;
- Assure that the overall podcast series (hence each of the episodes) follows the same logic and has a unified approach;
- Assure high-tech quality equipment and high-quality of the products throughout the process;
- Assure sufficient number of professionals, who fulfil the competence criteria;
- Reporting on regular basis regarding the dynamics of implementation of tasks described in ToR.

- To be computed as a ratio of the Proposal’s offer to the lowest price among the proposals received by UNDP.
