Applications are now open for the Cumberland and Westmorland Herald Fund to benefiting people living in the Cumberland & Westmorland Herald’s main circulation area, including Penrith, Appleby-in-Westmorland, Kirkby Stephen and Alston.
Funding Information
Grants will normally be between £500 – £1,000 over one year.
Examples of projects supported
- riding workshops and sessions for the disabled
- improvement of community buildings
- exercise classes for older people
- camping equipment for a young people’s group
- sporting activities for the disabled
Eligibility Criteria
charitable not-for-profit groups benefiting people living in the Cumberland & Westmorland Herald’s main circulation area, including Penrith, Appleby-in-Westmorland, Kirkby Stephen and Alston.
