Nominations are now open for the Victorian Multicultural Commission’s Arts Award to recognise artists, performers and organisations that develop and implement arts programs or initiatives that aim to improve intercultural learning or social cohesion through participation and performance.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals, community groups, and organisations.
- Multiple organisations working together are also eligible.
- Self-nominations are accepted.
Assessment Criteria
- Promotes, supports and preserves cultural expression through the arts.
- Cultivates the talents of culturally diverse artists through participation and performance.
- Builds social cohesion and fosters intercultural understanding by creating opportunities for collaboration and performance.
What do I need to make a nomination?
- You will be asked 4 questions to support your nomination.
- All nominations must include contact information for 2 referees. Note: referees are compulsory.
- You may attach up to 5 additional materials to support your nomination, for example news articles, videos or referee statements
