The Community Enterprise Foundation is seeking applications for its Pitch It 2021 Community Bank Pinewood Grants Program that engages the local not for profit and business sector in the City of Monash.
The Pinewood Community Pitch will give local community groups the chance to pitch for their share of a pool of funds thanks to the generous support of local business and the Community Bank Pinewood part of the Bendigo Bank.
The Community Pitch Program is designed to:
- Make better, targeted use of funds that are responsive to community needs
- Support projects that make a positive contribution to City of Monash.
Area: Pinewood Community Pitch Program will support organisations within the City of Monash.
Criteria
- They are looking for projects that create real positive change for the City of Monash and offer clear public benefit for the community, contributing to its development in building social capital, community welfare, environmental, health, education or in cultural areas and encouraged
- All applicants must adhere to the following criteria before submitting their application.
- Be a charitable organisation or a Not for Profit (NFP) organisation with a valid ABN. (if you do not have an ABN or yours is a government ABN you will need a project partner)
- Be geographically located and operate in the City of Monash.
- Submit an application for their project that shows broad community benefit.
- Be able to deliver a presentation and pitch your project
- To be considered, each application must include the following supporting documentation:
- Financials
- Current signed audited Financial Statements for the Applicant organisation and Project Partner (where applicable).
- If your organisation is not required to audit your financials please provide a profit and loss statement as a minimum and a balance sheet if available. Please also include a current bank statement.
- Quotes
- Quotes are required for all budget items
- If you have conducted this project/program before copies of receipts / invoices that substantiate this request from previous expenditure may be acceptable together with a detailed budget
- Project Budget
- Please ensure that your budget and/or supporting documentation clearly shows how the funds requested will be spent.
- State Government Entities are encouraged to call the Foundation before submitting an application. There are some requirements that will apply.
- Please note that if you are successful in receiving your funding through this program you will need to complete your project and provide an acquittal report including financial accounting evidence of how the funds have been spent within 60 days of the project completion date.
