Deadline: 1-Dec-21
The Bank of America has announced the applications for Frank B. Hazard General Charity Fund to support charitable organizations that provide basic needs to low-income populations.
The Hazard General Charity Fund specifically supports charitable organizations that serve the people of Providence, Rhode Island. Organizations must be “under the management of persons who, or most of whom, are of the Protestant religious faith.”
Bank of America, N.A. serves as trustee, co-trustee, or agent to numerous private foundations. The Connecticut-based Philanthropic Solutions office manages many of these discretionary foundations which support nonprofit organizations serving vital community needs. The majority of these foundations were created and structured by donors to provide focused grantmaking based on a specific program and/or geographic area.
Focus Areas
They seek to positively impact the lives of the traditionally underserved within their communities through their support of charitable organizations. There are a limited number of Connecticut foundations where the donor granted broad funding discretion to Bank of America, Private Bank. These foundations generally fund the areas of human services, education, health care, the arts, and the environment.
