The Embassy of Czech Republic has announced the applications for Local Transformation Projects to support civil society entities (private, educational, social, health institutions, NGOs, productive associations, etc.) (They cannot be private companies) in their effort to eradicate poverty in accordance with the UN Millennium Goals.
In accordance with the most recent regulations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, those project proposals that propose advances and links for the strategic business continuity beneficial to the economy and industry of the Czech Republic will be prioritized when evaluating. so that the project has Czech elements: technologies, products, science & research.
Priority Areas
The highest priority areas for development cooperation in the Czech Republic are in the following order:
- Protection of the Environment, natural resources and Prevention of Natural Disasters,
- Sustainable Agricultural Production, Food Sovereignty and Sustainable Agroforestry Systems,
- Social Development (includes access to water, electricity, education, health and social services) in isolated areas,
- Economic Development (development of productive and commercial capacities, fight against drugs and alternative production).
Funding Information
- The financial contribution that can be awarded to you for a project is between CZK 200,000 and CZK 500,000 (current exchange rates 1 PEN = 5,353 CZK, 1 USD = 21,707 CZK).
- Duration of the Project is a maximum of 8 months.
Requirements
The main requirements of the proposals for local transformation projects:
- The PLT proposal must contain the identification form in the English language, duly completed in its entirety and signed by the person authorized by the interested party, including their name in capital letters, possibly also with their seal.
- The form must be accompanied by a document that proves it before the corresponding authority and additionally by a document that proves the authorization of the entity that is going to represent (the official documents issued by the Public Registries). Only project proposals from duly registered entities will be accepted.
