The Humanities Washington is excited to announce the SHARP Grants opportunities to support the recovery of their sector.
These grants will support Washington State colleges, universities, and volunteer-run nonprofit organizations that provide humanities programming, and that are responding to or recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. These grants are funded by the American Rescue Plan via the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Categories
- SHARP General Operating Support Grants for Volunteer-Run Organizations are intended for humanities-focused organizations with an all-volunteer staff that have a track record of humanities programming and have been adversely impacted by the pandemic.
- SHARP Project Support Grants for Volunteer-Run Organizations are intended for organizations with all-volunteer staff that have been adversely impacted by the pandemic.
- SHARP Project Support Grants for Colleges and Universities. These grants are intended for college and university departments and programs to mount public-facing projects that help communities respond to and recover from the effects of the pandemic.

- SHARP General Operating Support Grants for Volunteer-Run Organizations: 501 (c) (3) organizations registered in Washington, including those affiliated with tribal organizations.
- SHARP Project Support Grants for Volunteer-Run Organizations: Volunteer-run 501 (c) (3) organizations registered in Washington, including those affiliated with tribal organizations.
- SHARP Project Support Grants for Colleges and Universities: Accredited public and 501 (c) (3) institutions of higher education registered in Washington State.
