The Rugby Borough Council is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the COVID-19 Community Organisation Grants to support the work of charitable, voluntary and community organisations in the borough.
Aims
The grants aim to support sustainable community projects which:
- focus on new ways to engage with communities, particularly the use of digital technology
- promote community interaction and involvement
- address issues which have arisen during the coronavirus pandemic
Projects
The Council is looking to support projects which:
- are focused on new ways of interacting with communities, particularly the development of new or enhanced digital offers / ways of using technology
- promote community interaction and involvement
- are sustainable
- demonstrate a response to the lessons learnt by your association when dealing with issues arising from Covid-19
Funding Information
- Organisations can apply for grants ranging from £250 to £750.
- You will need to agree to spend the money within 12 months if it being awarded to your group.
Eligibility Criteria
- Parish councils, community, voluntary, not-for-profit and charitable organisations can apply, including faith organisations where the proposed project has a wider community benefit and does not promote religious belief or activity.
