The Corra Foundation is pleased to announce the Henry Duncan Micro Grants to fund small charities and voluntary groups which deliver activities to improve mental health and wellbeing.
Activity will have a focus on reducing isolation and loneliness by supporting people to be connected. It will work within communities experiencing disadvantage, including Black Asian Minority Ethnic and rural communities.
Funding Information
A one-off grant of between £ 100 and £ 1000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Henry duncan micro grants can support charities and *constituted voluntary groups that:
- Are operating in Scotland.
- Have an annual income of up to £ 50,000.
- Are delivering activities in communities experiencing disadvantage, including Black, Asian Minority Ethnic and rural communities.
- Deliver activities with a specific focus on supporting people’s mental health and wellbeing by creating supportive spaces where people make connections, reducing isolation and loneliness.
- Do not have enough funds to run their activities in the next year.
- *Constituted voluntary groups must have charitable purposes and have a governing document which clearly states that:
- The group is not for profit, or has a clear clause ensuring that all income is applied to the group’s purposes and not distributed to members, shareholders or owners.
- There is a dissolution clause / lock in place requiring assets are distributed to a group with similar charitable aims in the instance of closure.
