UNDP is calling for proposals from NGOs / CSOs to provide a shared action plan “for people, planet, prosperity, peace and partnerships” to be implemented “by all countries and stakeholders through a collaborative alliance.”
The preparation of the INV involves a process through which the countries evaluate and present progress in the achievement of global objectives and the commitment to leave no one behind. The INV aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences, including successes, challenges and lessons learned, with a view to accelerating the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
Similarly, it aims to strengthen policies and institutions and mobilize support and partnerships for the implementation of the SDGs.
The project aims to: The preparation of three reports: the Voluntary National Report (INV) and two Reports of Leaving No One Behind (LNOB) for its acronym in English.
Objectives
- This is a Request for Information (RFI) from national and / or international CSOs / NGOs for possible association with UNDP in delivering results for development projects that require knowledge and experience in the following areas: sustainable development, development economics, economics, statistics, sociology, Human Rights, management or related areas
- The general objective of the first activity is to prepare the Voluntary National Report (INV) on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Equatorial Guinea, also taking into account the socioeconomic impact of COVID 19 in the country.
Scope of Work
In specific terms, the scope of the work includes the compilation of information and the writing of texts related to:
- Development context of Equatorial Guinea;
- Policy and actions implemented to achieve the SDGs;
- Status of the integration of the SDGs in the National Development Plans;
- Progress monitoring: status, monitoring;
- Implementation: Opportunities and Challenges;
- Recommendation on the way forward.
Funding Information
- As indicated in the TOR, the quantities of the proposals must not exceed a maximum of 140,000 Dollars Americans.
- The amount requested in the proposal must be proportional to the organization’s administrative and financial management capacity. The execution of the project must not exceedSix month’s duration.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum of five years of work experience in the areas of interest (development economics, human rights, inclusion, health economics and public health);
- Substantial experience in development policy analysis and field surveys in Africa;
- Good knowledge about the political and socioeconomic context of Central Africa and of Equatorial Guinea specifically;
- Good knowledge about sustainable development and experience with the United Nations System;
- Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated ability to conduct research including statistical analysis and data management;
- UN working knowledge; – Computer skills.
