The Closing the Gap (CTG) Network+ is inviting proposals to support key research initiatives to deliver more effective and significant impact to close the health gap people with severe mental ill health experience.
The aim of the call is to provide support for knowledge mobilisation activities and impact that address the challenge of reducing the health gap people with severe mental ill health experience.

Funding Information
- Total funding available: £80,000
- Maximum size of award: up to £20,000
- Duration: 9 months
- Project must be completed by 31 December 2022
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications must be led or co-led by a UK Higher Education Institution (HEI). Non- academic bodies, charities, third sector organisations and other relevant bodies are welcome to apply. Projects co-led by HEI in partnership with non-academic groupings are also strongly encouraged, however due to UKRI funding requirements, projects must have a HEI lead or co-lead applicant. Applications including Early Career Researchers are strongly encouraged, either as co-investigators where the applicant is yet to gain an independent, permanent position, or as PI if they are in the early stages of an academic or research career with a long-term position.
- If the main applicant is on a fixed-term contract, with a contract end date before the end of the project or very shortly afterwards, a further project supervisor who will take over and oversee the completion of the project should also be named.
