Proudly coordinated by the Victorian Multicultural Commission on behalf of the Victorian Government, the Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll 2022 Program will focus on local champions of diversity, recognising the vital role that multicultural individuals have played to keep the communities safe and connected.

The Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll replaces the Meritorious Service to the Community category from the VMC’s annual Multicultural Awards for Excellence. The Victorian Multicultural Honour Roll was created as a separate awards platform to further spotlight those who promote multicultural civic participation and the social, cultural and economic benefits of diversity, in line with the VMC’s legislative objectives under the Multicultural Victoria Act 2011 (Vic).
Eligibility Criteria
Individuals who meet all 4 criteria below:
- have a culturally and linguistically diverse background
- reside in Victoria
- can demonstrate an impact on the multicultural community in Victoria
- have made a lasting contribution to multiculturalism in Victoria.
Individuals can self-nominate.
Assessment Criteria
Nominees will be assessed according the following criteria:
- impact of contributions in the Victorian multicultural community
- lasting contributions
- commitment to the Victorian multicultural community.
