These grants help Shaw and our community partners create a better future in the communities in which they live and work.
Shaw is passionately committed to creating a better future. From civic involvement and philanthropic giving, to volunteerism and future workforce development, they value the opportunities to serve with their associates to address needs in the communities in which they operate.
Grant Details
- Non-profit, community organizations and youth extracurriculars are eligible to apply for financial and product grants.
- Criteria will include community outreach focus areas of local education (STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math), workforce development and United Way affiliated agencies in the communities where their associates live and work.
Criteria
Organizations must meet the following criteria:
- An organization holding a current tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) or (19) of the Internal Revenue Code, listed in the IRS Master File that conduct activities in the United States.
- A recognized government entity: state, county, or city agency, including law enforcement or fire departments.
- A K-12 public or private school, charter school, community/junior college, state/private college or university.
- They reserve the right to determine whether any organization is ineligible.
