The AARP Innovation Labs has announced the applications for Connect & Thrive Pitch Competition.
How might they unleash disruptive tech solutions that bridge opportunities for learning, entertainment, and connection to foster inclusive communities where everyone thrives?
Benefits
The winner of the AARP Innovation Labs and Venture Miami (City of Miami) pitch competition will receive the following:
- The judges’ winner will receive $20,000
- The peoples’ choice winner will receive $5,000
- Recognition and interview opportunities through Venture Miami
- Startups invited to pitch may be offered a spot in an upcoming AARP Innovation Labs’ accelerator cohort, where they can expect hands-on mentorship by a team with years of experience building and creating solutions for the 50+ audience.
Eligibility Criteria
- USA based early stage startup
- Less than $10 million in annual revenue
- Received less than $25 million in investments
- Demonstrate that your product empowers people to choose to live as they age
- Articulate how AARP can help propel your business and improve the quality of life of those around them
- Finalist must be available in person on March 9th in Miami. All selected finalist will be responsible for their own travel and lodging
- The Promotion is open to all incorporated non-profits and for-profits organizations in good standing in their state of origin with its principal place of business located within the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia as of the date of entry (“Entrants”).
