The Calgary Flames Foundation has announced the applications for the Community Grants Program to support charitable organizations in southern Alberta working to bring positive change to the lives of southern Albertans.
This program supports initiatives under three main pillars of health and wellness, education and grassroots sports with an emphasis on youth.

Eligibility Criteria
- The grant program can only accept applications from CRA registered charities. Please visit the Canada Revenue Agency’s Charities Listings website to determine whether your organization is a qualified charity.

To qualify for a grant from the Calgary Flames Foundation, an Organization must:
- Be Registered with Canada Revenue Agency
- Have a recognized good management
- Have a well established Board of Directors
- Have an internal management control and well established Administrative policies.
- Provide a receipt and final report of the progress of the program that the grant funded
Ineligible
The Calgary Flames Foundation does not fund the following areas:
- For profit organizations
- Individual/Family interests
- Debt reduction/financing campaigns
- Request to fund operational, salary or administrative fees
- Private foundations or endowment funds
- Conferences or competition
- Telethons, auctions or fundraisers
- Direct publicity campaigns
- Political parties or interest
- Religious efforts
