Deadline: 28-Feb-22
Nike, in partnership with the King Baudouin Foundation has launched the 2022 Nike Community Impact Fund (NCIF) to create stronger communities in Berlin (Germany) through the power of sport.
Today’s physical inactivity disproportionately impacts those in the most underserved communities. People from underprivileged backgrounds – as well as girls and kids with different abilities — face even more challenges to participating in play and sport and have fewer opportunities to do so.
However, they know that sport and physical activity have a positive impact on social inclusion, health and also contribute to individuals, self -confidence and social skills. That’s why the Nike Community Impact Fund (NCIF) provides financial support to local programs and grassroots organizations that promote active and inclusive communities in Berlin, Germany.
Nike cares a lot about involvement in sports in the widest sense, and it aims to create more opportunities for vulnerable groups (6-25y) to participate in physical activities.
