The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) is seeking applications to Prevent and Respond Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, Stalking, and Sex Trafficking Against Children and Youth (CY) Program.
The CY Program supports comprehensive, community-based efforts to develop or expand prevention, intervention, treatment, and response strategies to address the needs of children and youth impacted by domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sex trafficking.
Purpose Areas
In FY 2022, funds under this program must be used for one of the following purposes. Applicants may select only one purpose area.
- Services and Training to Address Children Exposed to Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, Stalking, and Sex Trafficking (within ages 0-10).
- Creating Safer Communities for Youth: Prevention, Intervention, Treatment, and Response Services for Youth Impacted by Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, Stalking, and Sex Trafficking (within ages 11-24).
- Providing School-Based Services: Prevention, Intervention, and Response to Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, Stalking, and Sex Trafficking (within ages 5-19).

- Anticipated Total Amount to be Awarded Under Solicitation: $5,500,000.00

- This program typically makes awards up to $500,000. OVW estimates that it will make up to 11 awards for an estimated
- $5,500,000.
- Awards under this program for FY 2022 will be made for up to $500,000 for the entire 36 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments)
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Others
- City or township governments
- Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
- County governments
- Eligible applicants are limited to: nonprofit, nongovernmental entities (other than institutions of higher education); tribal organizations; Indian tribal governments; and units of local government or agencies of units of local government in the United States or U.S. territories.
