XPRIZE Racial Equity Alliance launches a brand new competition focused on Education Equity, and they want to hear from you. The Racial Equity Alliance (REA) is a coalition aimed at creating more equitable solutions to dismantle institutional and systemic structures of racial inequities with an intentional focus on the Black community.
By combining XPRIZE’s proven Alliance model of collaboration and shared innovation, the Racial Equity Alliance, in partnership with the Coalition of Black Excellence, takes action by convening a diverse group of thought leaders, topical experts, industry executives, policy makers, and nonprofit leaders who provide thought leadership and help shape the vision and work of the Alliance to drive immediate, positive impact.

Prize Details
- The Racial Equity Alliance is proud to introduce the Ideas Competition, presented by Intel, a four-month, $50,000 competition to generate ideas for future XPRIZE competitions with the goal of advancing educational equity in the United States.
- Winners will also have the opportunity to showcase their ideas to Alliance sponsors, partners, and members of the Brain Trust. One of the winning ideas may even become the next XPRIZE Competition.
What Kind of Ideas can be submitted?
- Competitors in the Ideas Competition will be asked to describe an educational challenge specific to their community and/or the US at large and explain how their competition idea could help drive positive and impactful solutions to that key challenge.

- you must be 18 years or older and a legal resident of the United States.
