The Bank of America is pleased to announce the Kawabe Memorial Fund to support general operations and programs of nonprofit agencies devoted to the care of low-income children, families and seniors.
The Fund also provides a few capital grants to churches as well as scholarships to support teachers and the clergy. With the exception of the Seward scholarships, most grants are awarded to agencies and churches in the Seattle/King County Area.
Duration
- The majority of grants are 1 year in duration. Each foundation has unique giving preferences for the type of support provided (program, operating, capital, etc.).
Eligibility Criteria
- Prior to committee consideration of proposals, applicants may be asked to provide additional information by phone.
- Grant requests for specific programs are encouraged but requests for general operating support will be considered. Grants from the Kawabe Memorial Fund are 1 year in duration.
- Applicants will be notified by mail of the Committee’s funding decisions.
