- The total amount one applicant can request is $5,000.00.
Guidelines
- CCF has an interest in supporting organizations and projects which enhance the lives of Carthage residents and provide innovative solutions for existing and emerging community needs.
- Applicant needs to select one area of funding, and can only apply once.
- CCF prefers to provide grants for one-time special projects & capital/equipment purchases, however, the board will also consider general operating expenses if a strong case is made for special circumstances due to ongoing COVID-19 impact.
- Organizations must provide a clear and itemized project budget along with the application.
- Organizations should indicate if matching funds are available (or can be secured on time) if needed for project completion.
- Grants received must be spent within one year of receipt. Recipients will be expected to participate in publicity for the grant, as well as provide a detailed follow-up report after one year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any 501(c)3 organizations or other IRS-approved entities (government entities, school districts, and churches) serving the Carthage area may make an application to Carthage Community Foundation for its Spring 2022 Community Grant Round.
Criteria
- In awarding grants, affiliates of the CFO will not discriminate based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status.
