The Chick-fil-A is pleased to launch a call for nominations for the True Inspiration Awards to celebrate and support nonprofit organizations making an impact in their local communities.
Annual True Inspiration Awards program provides grants to nonprofit organizations that are working to strengthen their neighborhoods and cities. The True Inspiration Awards program was created in 2015 to honor the legacy of Chick-fil-A’s late founder, S. Truett Cathy.
Every day, thousands of Chick-fil-A Operators, Team Members and staff live out this ideal in meaningful ways, creating impactful change in their local neighborhoods throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada.

Funding Information
True Inspiration Awards grants range from $30,000 to $350,000, with a collective $5 million awarded annually to organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for a True Inspiration Awards grant, an organization should:

Be either
- A 501(c)(3) based in the U.S.
- A Canadian charitable organization that can provide an opinion of counsel that confirms it is the equivalent of a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity in its home jurisdiction.
- Organizations must also have needs that align with their Corporate Social Responsibility priorities: Caring for People, Caring for Others through Food, Caring for Communities and Caring for their Planet.
- Organizations who received a True Inspiration Awards grant in 2020 or 2021 are not eligible to apply.
