The mission of the program is to provide visibility for the projects and activities of civil society organizations, support them to have better access to alternative funding and connect them with other potential partners and supporters.
Al Tadamun Crowdfunding Academy is part of the “NGO Empowerment Program for Poverty Reduction”, sponsored by the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD), managed by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and implemented by UNDP and other strategic partners.
Tadamun Crowdfunding Academy is a training program that enables civil society organizations to obtain funding using crowdfunding.
They want to empower CSOs on how to build and develop a community, give projects more clarity to engage donors and partners, create compelling stories about their issues, and fund their projects and ideas.

The Tadamon Crowdfunding Academy modules are tailored to fit your needs and to improve your skills so that you can launch your own successful crowdfunding campaign. Designed to be fun and engaging, the modules cover the needed tools for you to design your project, create a compelling story and narrative so that you can transform your idea into reality. What they expect from teams?
- Motivation and proactivity
- Participation of two or three team members in all online and offline training
- Completing work assignments on time
- Launching their crowdfunding campaigns within 7 months after the start of the training program.
Eligibility Criteria
They are looking for civil society organizations (NGOs, citizen groups, social entrepreneurs, development start-ups) that are working in the field of:
- COVID-19 response/recovery/prevention
- Poverty reduction and support for the most vulnerable groups
- Women, youth, and people with disability empowerment
- Climate change, energy, and environment
- STEM education and digital access to learning
