The Community Foundation for Staffordshire’s Youth Opportunities Fund is now open to help to break down barriers that may stop young people achieving their full potential, and to help them take advantage of opportunities that may not otherwise be available to them due to financial constraints.

You can apply for a grant of up to £500.
Who they Will Support?
The Foundation will support people who meet the following criteria;
- Young people between the ages of 14 and 25
- People who live within 20 miles of Stoke on Trent, but this generally includes the following areas:
- Staffordshire – as far south as Rugeley and Penkridge
- Shropshire – as far west as Prees Heath, Hodnet and Donnington, including parts of Telford
- Cheshire – as far north as Macclesfield and as far north west as Winsford
- Derbyshire – as far east as Ashbourne and Hartington
What you can apply for?
- A training course
- A small piece of equipment
- A uniform that you might need for work
- Something to improve your confidence, help you with a future work aim, or to help you contribute to your local community.
- It doesn’t have to be focused on work – you might have some personal problems that they can help with.
