The Community Foundation is pleased to launch the Ted Weekes Fund to support children and young people’s projects in Seaton Sluice and New Hartley.
Foundation Mission
The Community Foundation grows giving and philanthropy, matching generous people with their region’s important community causes. They do this by:
- enabling people from all walks of life to set up charitable funds, collectively give or share expertise;
- supporting small, local charities and community organizations through grants from their funds and help from their networks;
- shining a light on vital issues affecting the area and working with others to tackle them;
- building their endowment as an asset for their communities now, and for generations to come.
Funding Information
Grant Range: £750 – £3,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications for project, capital, running and core costs are welcome.
- The Fund will not support any request for funding for items that are deemed to be the responsibility of statutory services in any circumstances, in line with the grant-making policies of the Community Foundation . This includes lessons or curriculum time teaching costs or resources.
- S ocial enterprises, community interest companies, and other non-charities should also take careful note of their application guidance notes.
