CESIE has announced a call for applications to provide subgrants to women’s start-ups in the agri-food sector that exist in the territory of the Sicily region.
The general objective is to support the start-up of new businesses and new entrepreneurial initiatives through the financial support provided by the InnovAgroWoMed project.
Funding Information
- The financial amount available for this call is EUR 45,000.
- CESIE as project partner reserves the right not to distribute all available funds.
- The maximum budget for each project is EUR 15,000.
- The loan will take the form of reimbursement of expenses.
- It is requested to carry out a planning of the activities for which the grant is requested and the related cost estimate over a period of 4 months
Geographic Area: The new company must have its legal and operational headquarters in the region: Sicily.
Eligibility Criteria
- The call is aimed at individuals who meet the following requirements:
- Women (individual or group participation)
- 18 years
- Resident or domiciled in Sicily
- who undertake to set up a new company, if beneficiaries of the grant, before signing of the grant agreement. Therefore, the legal person will be the subject of the grant agreement becoming the beneficiary, responsible for the implementation of the activities.
- The business plan represents the main evaluation parameter for awarding the grant and may include costs related to business start-up activities such as:
- Establishment and registration of the company
- Purchase of machinery and equipment
- Rent of spaces, machinery, equipment
- Consulting services and assignments
- Team training and development
- Promotion, Communication and Marketing
