The Humanity in Action is pleased to announce the third iteration of the Humanity in Action Racial Equity Grant.
This 10-month grant recognizes the impactful work of our Fellows and Senior Fellows as they support racial equity and #BlackLivesMatter. In addition to the financial support, Humanity in Action staff provides mentoring to support the implementation of the grant winning projects.
This grant seeks to support the work of our community as we reckon with past and present racial injustices and bear witness to the power of dynamic civic action in the name of critical social change and transformative promise.
Funding Information
- The maximum grant is $10,000 per project and we are currently distributing a total of $30,000.
What is required to apply?
- Before you apply, you should be sure to develop a plan and a preliminary budget for your project. Key questions to keep in mind when considering your proposal include:
- Why is there a need for your project?
- Whom will you affect through your work?
- What do you intend to achieve?
- How will you accomplish your objectives?
- How does this project strengthen cooperation with the
- Humanity in Action network?
