The Community Foundation Boulder County (CFBC) is seeking applications for its Community Trust Grant Program.
CFBC centers equity in the grantmaking, and grant decisions are made in a process that is facilitated by Community Foundation staff, advised by Boulder County volunteer reviewers, and approved by Community Foundation Boulder County leadership.

Funding Information
- There is no upper funding limit, however, Community Trust grants typically range between $1,000 and $9,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Grants from the Community Foundation must only be used for the stated purpose of the grant.
- Proposed activities or services must occur within Boulder County for the benefit of Boulder County residents.
- Grantees must be currently recognized as a public charity in the United States, including nonprofits with 501(c)(3), or governmental [170(c)(1)], or educational and religious institutions. Groups or organizations that do not have such designations may only apply in partnership with an IRS-qualified entity as a fiscal sponsor.
- The Community Foundation accepts applications/proposals for general operating funds, specific projects and programs, capital campaigns, startup endowments, and technical assistance.
- The Community Foundation does not make grants to organizations where grant money from the unrestricted or field of interest funds could be used to advance a particular political or religious doctrine.
- Organizations may not receive funding for a particular program more than once in a calendar year from multiple Community Foundation grant funds. Exception: General operating requests or grants from Donor-Advised Funds.
