The Community Enterprise Foundation is inviting applications for the Community Bank Caulfield Park Community Investment Program.
The Community Bank Caulfield Park Community Investment Program is the approach to effectively manage and coordinate funding requests, and is made possible by the generous support of Community Bank Caulfield Park and the customers who bank with this branch.
The Investment Program is designed to:
- Make better, targeted use of funds that are responsive to community needs
- Support projects and programs that make a positive contribution to local community needs in Caulfield and surrounding communities
- Grow the Community Bank Caulfield Park Branch which will in turn maximise the funding available for investment in community organisations
- Increase relationships with community organisations which advocate to strengthen the profile and customer base of Community Bank Caulfield Park
Aims
- Provide organisations with clear application guidelines and process
- Bring together Community Bank Caulfield Park and organisations to strengthen the local community
- Grow the Community Bank Caulfield Park Branch which will in turn maximise the funding available for investment in community organisations
- Increase Partnerships with community organisations which advocate to strengthen the profile and customer base of Community Bank Caulfield Park
- Assist the Board to make informed decisions and allocate funds to maximise community impact in response to community needs
Impact Sectors
Funding is allocated to projects which build community resilience, help others, encourage participation, volunteering and healthy lifestyles. Sectors include:
- Arts, Culture and Heritage
- Community Facilities and Infrastructure
- Education and Research
- Emergency Services and Support
- Environmental and Animal Welfare
- Health and Wellbeing
- Sport and Recreation
Expectations of Applicants
- Willingness to be a positive advocate to strengthen the profile and customer base of Community Bank Caulfield Park
- Willingness to promote Community Bank Caulfield Park in person and in all forms of marketing: website, newsletter, Facebook, Instagram, events, presentations, and media
- A bank account to be held at the Community Bank Caulfield Park Branch to deposit the funds
- Willingness to discuss banking with Community Bank Caulfield Park
- Funds must be spent as outlined in the application and within the project timeline
- Willingness to be audited for compliance with funding conditions
- Commitment to submit an Acquittal form when project is complete
What will not be funded?
- Projects which benefit an individual
- Projects seeking retrospective funding
- Administration, salaries or employee payments
- Research and development phase of the project/program
Target Audience: Charitable and not-for-profit organisations can apply for funding of projects and programs that offer clear public benefit for the community, contributing to its development in building social capital, community welfare, environmental, health, education or cultural areas.
Geographical Area: Community Bank Caulfield Park Community Investment Program supports projects and programs in Caulfield and surrounding communities.
Eligibility Criteria
- A community organisation based in or servicing the Caulfield and surrounding communities
- A not-for-profit organisation which is incorporated with an Australian Business Number (ABN)
- An organisation without an ABN but with a Project Partner. (A Project Partner is an organisation which is eligible to receive charitable funding and is willing to support and work with you to deliver your project)
- Eligible applicants do not include a government organisation or an organisation which uses a government ABN
Note: The Board may elect to work in partnership with applicants which do not satisfy these criteria

- Project or program services Caulfield and surrounding areas
- A bank account to be held at the Community Bank Caulfield Park Branch to deposit the funds
- Willingness to be a positive advocate to strengthen the profile and customer base of Community Bank Caulfield Park
- Willingness to discuss community banking benefits of banking with Community Bank Caulfield Park
