Art Outreach is excited to launch the IMPART Art Prize to support the professional development of emerging artists and curators in Singapore by providing impactful career building opportunities, while building an awareness and appreciation of local art and practitioners.
The Art Outreach mission is to increase visual art literacy and to promote art appreciation in Singapore by offering an art education program for primary and secondary school students, art events and presentations in the community, art tours for the public, as well as developing a body of well-trained and committed volunteers to serve as art advocates, providing a vital resource in the community.
Award Information
Each year, up to three visual arts talents will receive a cash prize of SGD20,000 each, alongside opportunities for professional development and networking, to enable them to grow and sustain their chosen careers in the arts.
Eligibility Criteria
The prize is open to artists working across all mediums, and who are Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents aged 18-40 (at the time of application). They have a special focus on emerging artists, which may be defined by (though certainly not limited to) participation in at least two (2) group exhibitions and preferably one (1) solo exhibition
