What does the program look like?
- The Bootcamp program will last approximately 3 weeks (subject to adjustment for holidays and other scheduling changes). Founders from the selected teams must commit to attending all training programs and weekly lectures. These include:
- Weekly lecture / training / mentor programs held every week, from 9:30 – 17:00 EEST. The training will cover a variety of subjects, including business models, pitching, financing, team development, targeting your clients, marketing, and sales, among others.
- Each team must complete a variety of tasks in between workshops and lectures. Every team presents the results at checkpoints (as a part of the selection).
Eligibility Criteria
- Businesses based on any tech – for example, IT, pharmaceuticals, biotech, engineering, material science, hardware, and so forth – can apply, as long as they are based in Ukraine or targeted at it. They do not limit applicants based on the type of technology that can be scaled globally.
- The business does not need to be a registered business entity (LLC), although they may encourage you to create a legal entity after you are selected to join the program.
- Any number of founders is appropriate. In general, however, the founding team should have expertise in:
- technology/science/engineering,
- marketing/product development, and
- presenting the business to prospective partners/investors.
- Although a single person can perform these tasks, it’s rare for that to be the case. For that reason, they encourage teams of at least two founders, but will consider exceptional single-founders.
- They are looking for startup businesses, but we recognize that startups come in different stages. They will accept businesses at any stage – from the minimum viable product or prototype, to increasing market share or seeking to raise capital.
- Businesses must commit to having all founders attend all sessions for the 3-week program, unless otherwise agreed in advance with the SET manager.
- English is important. Participants should have a basic, working-level of English.
- For Whom:
- Startup founders & their teams willing to grow their companies and adapt to the changing environment
- Innovation/Product Managers, C-Level Executives eager to improve the products they are working on
- Teams of technologists who want to understand the business side of entrepreneurship
- Engineering teams who want to understand the business side of entrepreneurship
- University students willing to learn the practical aspects of building a startup
