The Nillumbik Shire Council is inviting community groups, schools and not-for-profit organisations to apply for International Day of People with Disability Grant program to celebrate and promote disability inclusion in Nillumbik.
International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is held on 3 December each year, highlighting the contributions people with disability make across the community.
Funding Information
Up to $1,000 from a grant pool of $7,000
Criteria
Events and activities should:
- Be within a reasonable price range from free to a maximum of $10 per person
- Demonstrate inclusive, creative and innovative activities which broaden community awareness and participation for people with disability
- Showcase the skills, abilities, contributions and achievements of people with a disability
- Engage people with a disability to celebrate and raise awareness of IDPwD
