Themes
- Although each story should have one or more clear themes based on the journey of the micro-entrepreneur and/or micro-enterprise, participants are free to find and decide a theme of their liking.
- Some examples of the themes are:
- Overcoming socio-economic barriers to entry
- The impact created (social, economic, environmental, etc.)
- The challenges faced during the journey
- The motivation to start and continue
- Learning from failures
- Prospects for future growth
- Life behind the scenes

Who all qualify as microentrepreneurs?
- In accordance with the provision of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act, 2006, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) are classified as a micro-enterprise, where the investment in plant and machinery or equipment does not exceed one crore rupees, and turnover does not exceed five crore rupees. However, micro-entrepreneurship can also be understood in a broader context and framework.
- Examples of micro-entrepreneurs include the likes of Uber/Ola drivers, freelancers, Urban Clap service providers, artisans, fishermen, street vendors, tourist guides, et cetera.
Eligibility Criteria
Participants can be anyone and everyone who are seeking exposure in the domain of entrepreneurship or are building an enterprise/venture of their own. Only 1 submission per participant will be accepted.
