Creative Victoria is seeking applications for its PAX Rising Grants Program to Victorian-based games businesses that have been accepted into PAX Aus 2022.
Aims and Priorities
- The PAX Rising Grants program offers funding to eligible Victorian-based games businesses that have been accepted into the PAX Rising 2022 showcase.
- PAX Rising is the most popular area at PAX AUS. It is an opportunity for Indie developers to demonstrate new releases to players, media and industry representatives. There are two types of stalls: PAX Rising Pods (for small studios and individuals) and PAX Rising Premium Booths, aimed at larger studios (defined as those with more than five full time employees).
- PAX Rising Grants is designed to assist businesses with the cost of the booth, staffing, incidentals and the production of merchandise and promotional materials.
Funding Information
- $750 for businesses exhibiting in a PAX Rising Pod
- $1,500 for businesses exhibiting in a PAX Rising booth
Eligibility Criteria

For your application to be eligible you must be able to answer yes to the following questions:
- Are you a Victorian-based games business that has been accepted into the 2022 PAX Rising showcase? You will be required to demonstrate your acceptance in your application
- Do you have a current ABN?
- Do you agree to display the Creative Victoria logo and ‘Made in Melbourne’ banner within your promotional material and as part of your booth (physical and/or digital) if you receive funding?
- Do you agree to complete and submit a brief report, which will include sales and investment interest data, to Creative Victoria once PAX AUS has finished?
