The Tasmania Government has launched the applications for Artsbridge Program to support Tasmanian individuals and groups travelling within Tasmania (intrastate), Australia (interstate) or overseas (international) for arts or cultural heritage opportunities.
Tasmanian individuals, groups and organisations bringing professionals to Tasmania for arts or cultural heritage activities (including professional development opportunities or workshops).
What can I apply for?
- Costs related to travelling in Tasmania, Australia or overseas for arts or cultural heritage activities or
- Costs related to bringing professionals to Tasmania to deliver arts or cultural heritage activities
- Equipment cannot be covered by grant funds. Grant funds can be used towards any other costs related to the proposed activity.
Funding Information

If your activity involves travelling in Tasmania (intrastate), you can apply for:
- Up to $1 000 per Tasmanian artist
- Up to $5 000 per group of four or more Tasmanian artists.
- Activities in Tasmania must include one overnight stay outside your Local Government area.

If your activity involves travelling in Australia (interstate) or overseas (international) , you can apply for:
- Up to $3 000 per Tasmanian artist
- Up to $10 000 per group of four or more Tasmanian artists.

If you are applying to bring arts or cultural heritage professionals to Tasmania, you can apply for:
- Up to $3 000 per person
- Up to $10 000 per group of four or more professionals.
Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Artsbridge, you must be:
- An individual artist or group who has lived in Tasmania for six of the last 12 months
- An arts organisations based in Tasmania
- A cultural heritage organisation based in Tasmania.
